For 21 years now, the Joy of Jazz festival, sponsored by Standard Bank, has been the event for local jazz lovers. It’s so big, it attracts musicians from all over the world, eager to share in our unique musical heritage. If you have even the slightest interest in jazz, you can’t possibly miss this one.
- The Joburg Art Fair
The Joburg Art Fair showcases the best in modern African art and design, including both local and international artists. There will be 23 full galleries of art in all visual mediums, along with 11 special installations. We’re particularly looking forward to the debut of a new green glass installation from Martli Jansen van Rensburg!
- Fire & Feast Meat Festival
Vegetarians don’t show up for this one. As the name suggests, Fire & Feast is all about the best in freshly grilled meat – served up with cold beer, of course! The event also includes the National Butcher’s Challenge, highlighting the best cutters from across the country.
