They say that behind every successful man is an even more successful woman. This month of August at Ecomotel we pay tribute to the women of Africa as we celebrate National Women’s Day on 9 August.
Empowerment of Women
As a country, we have always strived for a society that realises the socio-economic empowerment of women and the advancement of gender equality.
From the days of struggle stalwarts such as Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, Ruth First and Mary Fitz Gerald to global award-winning artists such as Miriam Makeba, Brenda Fassie and PJ Powers, South Africa can hold the gender equality flag up high!
Embracing Diversity and Inclusion
Closer to home, Ecomotel is a proud supporter of women in the workplace, embracing diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our business. As an organisation, 60% of our workforce are women, of which most are in managerial positions.
To all gentlemen reading this article, this month presents us a great opportunity to show our women appreciation for the hard-work they put at home and at work.
So, to do our part this month on National Women’s day, we will be paying special attention to all working mothers of Ecomotel.
A Night’s Stay at Ecomotel’s Family Room
Our working-mom guests will stand a chance to win a free night’s stay in one of our family rooms which will include a KFC family voucher for four! So watch our Facebook and Instagram pages closely and don’t miss out on this cool prize!
From the management of Ecomotel, we take this opportunity to wish all our staff and guests a very happy Women’s month.
